Hitachi Air Conditioning approached Usable Media to create an app for improving loyalty from distributors, boosting sales and increasing its UK market share.
The core idea is an Hitachi-specific Quotation CRM for mobile & Tablet. The app we delivered empowers registered Hitachi resellers to create and save customer estimates on-demand, for Hitachi’s range of products.
Competition is intense in the sector so the back-end development code & scripts, are highly secure with privacy controls that lock access to registered vendors only.

We were selected for our ability to deliver complex open-source development with word-class design & usability, in under 8 weeks.

The final app includes extra features recommended by Usable Media including space for on-page advertising spots to promote Hitachi’s own products, an embedded ‘how-to’ video tutorial to limit customer-service enquiries, and expanding menus to fit all devices.
It’s cross-platform and multi-device with analytics installed so it provides Hitachi with data to help plan stock fulfilment and refine offers.

The app was created purely in HTML5 and CSS3 making it compliant across all modern devices. We served up the content using multiple levels of security. This renders the site almost impossible for the algorithms and logic behind the pricing and sensitive data to be accessed.
